Аннотация: Тема «Данте в афроамериканской литературе» как одна из тем современной дантологии разработана в трудах американского итальяниста Д. Луни. Данная статья построена как критическое переосмысление его концепции и собранных им примеров. Автор статьи отрицает не только стремление исследователя представить Данте заметной фигурой в процессе становления идентичности афроамериканцев, но и факт наличия самой традиции обращения черных авторов к Данте, по крайней мере, вплоть до середины XX в. Т. Якушкина утверждает, что, во-первых, малочисленность имеющихся примеров и отсутствие преемственности между ними не позволяют говорить о двухвековой традиции, во-вторых, у примеров XIX – первой половины XX вв. другая логика, которая соответствует не столько политическим процессам в американском обществе, сколько истории развития самой афроамериканской литературы. Обращение к имени Данте и использование аллюзий – это художественные приемы. Свобода в оперировании ими появляется только с середины XX в., когда черная литература преодолела свое отставание от белого мейнстрима и перешла на качественно иной уровень развития. В образе дантовского ада афро-американские писатели (Р. Эллисон, А. Барака) нашли материал для решения своих расово-культурных проблем. Встраивание афроамериканской литературы в постмодернистскую гуманитарную парадигму в 1980-е гг. привело не только к расширению палитры интертекстуальных техник в использовании дантовского «Ада», но и к возможности увидеть сквозь призму проблем черной самобытности и ассимиляционизма общечеловеческие проблемы современного буржуазного мира (Г. Нейлор). Меняется и отношение к имени Данте: он нужен не для того, чтобы получить доступ к западной культуре, но как способ ее отрицания и декларации своей культурной самобытности. Для современной афроамериканской культуры, развивающейся в общей динамике с западной культурой, характерно перемещение Данте из литературы в сферу искусства – джаз и творчество рэперов.
