Abstract: The article concentrates on the narrative form of A. Gaydar's prose in the context of representing the author's persona and the idea if a writer's role. The focus of attention are the problems of mediating an adult's and a child's point of view in the literary world of the writer, the search for biographic foundations of the strategy which M.A. Litovskaya implies by the term stylistic infantilism.
