Children's Fears in Britain's New Theatre of Cruelty: Plays for Children and Their Parents

Abstract: The article focuses on the problem of contemporary theatre of cruelty and analyses the plays by M. Ravenhill and Ph. Ridley. The playwrights develop the principles of neobrutalism and sensationalist drama, but among their plays there are dramatic works for children as well.
