Abstract: The article deals with the symbolism of amethysts as a factor of sense forming in the Annensky's poems Amethysts, After the Concert, The Light Nimbus. Amethyst in his poetry is directly tied with the poetics of magic crystal as architectonics principle of transformation of lyric sense. Besides the symbolism of this jewel provides connection-link between the motive of poetical inspiration, seaching of ideal and love.
