Sea Topos in the “African Diary” of N. Gumilev

Abstract: The article deals with the sea space in the “African diary” of N. Gumilev. It is emphasized that the author often described the image of Africa through metaphor of the water, it creates the effect of the dual of a topos, combining different elements.
