Abstract: Integrated lessons represent one of the areas of focus in modern school promoting development of students and enhancing teachers’ creative potential. Intra-subject and inter-subject integration help overcome fragmentation and mosaic nature of schoolchildren’s knowledge. Integration provides acquisition of complex knowledge of different subjects when studying one theme. The process of lesson integration has a general humanistic focus as it helps students realize their place in the social environment. Integrated learning helps students overcome the deductive approach in observation of the phenomena of the academic subject and to individualize the value of each of the subjects in harmony with his own personality and real circumstances. This article is devoted to the description of the idea of teaching a certain academic subject and a foreign language at the same time. The authors study the main aspects of a program of planning using CLI. The authors also consider language training from the point of view of development of the main foreign-language communicative competence. They believe that integrated bilingual lessons constitute the most effective way of realization of inter-subject connections. The authors offer a flow chart of a lesson as an example of such work.
