Abstract: The article is devoted to the effect of an «inverse» parody based on the novels “Uncle’s Dream”, “The Village of Stepanchikovo” and “The Idiot”. The effect means that a new literary task influences caricature features of early parody characters — the Prince K. and the Colonel Rostanev. They are suggested to be transformed and considered more as a parody. Dostoevsky uses them then for developing “lovely” character of Prince Myshkin. The nature of connection between characters in different novels — what often attracts attention of literature researchers — is revealed to include not only ideological reference but also obvious connection on constructive figurative level as well as within parody issue. Meanwhile the correlation between the object of parody and the parody itself in pairs Prince K — Prince Myshkin and Colonel Rostanev — Prince Myshkin does not correspond to the logic when the parody follows the appearance of the original and then presents it in a comic way. Linear chronology of an arrangement of a parodic and its object causes an unusual semantic correlation. A parody dominates an original. A parody character appears to be deeper and more meaningful than its predecessor.
