Linguopoetic Structure of the Artistic Chronotope in the Short Story “Sweet Shura” (“Milaya Shura”) by T. Tolstaya

Abstract: The article explores the articstic chronotope from the linguopoetic viewpoint, discussing its structure and the ways of constructing it on the level of the verbal artistic form. The author analyzes the liguopoetic devices as a part of the more abstract artistic devices, such as the synchronization of times,the assigning of processual characteristics to the past, the permeability of the routine/text spaces for viewer and speaker, the fragmentariness of the text structure, the introduction of artistic images as mediums, the narrator's addressing protagonists/readers outside the main chronotope, etc.
