MODERN METHODS IN ORGANIZATION OF A LESSON OF EXTRACURRICULAR READING (E. KLYUEV’S FAIRYTALE «DRAWBRIDGE»)

Abstract: The article gives a plan of extracurricular reading lesson (for 7–9 grades) devoted to the fairytale «Drawbridge» by E. Klyuev. A tale-parable forms the ability to read fiction thoughtfully, gives pupils an opportunity to experience the situation of moral choice and helps to develop pupils’ creativity. The use of modern educational technologies is aimed at the moral-philosophical and creative potential of a tale-parable. A setting problems and creative workshop technologies, drama teaching methods encourage the mental and esthetic experiencing of any fiction under consider ration. The particular role is given to drama teaching because dramatizing of school material is one of the most effective ways of visualization; while presenting the role, children not only understand the hero and his motives, but they get personal growth and experience. The described way of educational process corresponds to Federal Educational Standards, teaches to work in groups, focuses on social and professional mobility, promotes formation of universal training activities. There are parts of the fairy-tale under analysis and pupils’ answers. There are also two versions of the lesson's final.
